Soil type and exposure: volcanic soils on hillsides with southerly exposure
Harvesting method: by hand, in small 3 kg crates
Vinification: fermentation in thermoconditioned vats, crust broken up 5 times a day, 8 days' maceration
Maturation: barriques for 18 months
Colour: intense ruby red
Bouquet: Intense and complex. Hints of ripe fruit, with notes of tobacco, chocolate and spice
Flavour: mouth-filling and dry, excellent balance between natural tannins and those imparted by the wood, long lasting and good breadth
Alcohol content: 14% vol

Vinification: fermentation in thermoconditioned vats - crust broken up 5 times a day 8 days maceration
Maturation: in barriques for 18 months
Colour: very deep, intense ruby red with garnet reflections
Bouquet: elegant and intense, with hints of berries, morello cherry and bilberries; spicy, liquorice
Flavour: mouth-filling and intense, with mature, tightly-packed tannins; long finish with jammy, berry, liquorice and spicy aromas
Alcohol content: 14% vol

Vinification: soft pressing to extract only top-grade must, fermen-tation in heat-conditioned stainless steel tanks
Maturation: all the wine was matured in stainless steel and spent 5 months on the lees
Colour: deep straw yellow
Bouquet: rich and intense, harmonious balance between spice and fruit
Flavour: full-bodied, with hints of ripe fruit, smooth with good long length
Alcohol content: 13.50% vol
